Eight artists, all living within 15 miles of Eype, have come together to celebrate the colours and landscapes of the Jurassic Coast in a new exhibition.

Wessex Artists will present their work in a show called Kaleidoscope at Eype Centre for the Arts.

It features original prints, paintings and drawings by Alison Boyland, Sally Bowsher, Richard Corbett, Jane Coxhill, Deborah Harris, Tash Hayball, Kate Brookman and Hank Harp.

Artist Richard Corbett said: “We are a combination of fresh new talent and experienced artists who all met through classes, workshops and the local art community.

“Each person has their own colour palette, and style and Kaleidoscope expresses the multitude of colours in nature, from flowers to landscapes and seascapes, bringing them all together in a celebration of West Dorset.”

Kaleidoscope is on daily from July 23 to August 2, 10:30am – 4:30pm at Eype Church, near Bridport, DT6 6AR.

Artists will be there every day with some art available for sale.

There’s free parking, stunning coast views and the arts centre is very close to Eype beach – so come and make a day of it.
